Florida's Native Snakes

Get as up close & personal as your comfort level allows to some non-venomous native FL snakes. Get familiar with Florida's six venomous species snakes including the four that call Central Florida home. Discover lifestyles & habits of snakes & their interactions with their environments. And finally, learn about snake safety & gain confidence in gardening & outdoor activities in the presence of these mysterious reptiles.
Christopher Stalder is a graduate of the University of Florida and has worked with the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture. He is also an environmental scientist, a butterfly gardener, a backyard beekeeper and a member of the Florida State Beekeepers Association. He offers natural history programs around the state on many subjects including herpetology, butterfly gardening and beekeeping.
Registration includes admission to the beautiful gardens before or after class.
Participants must withdraw from classes at least 5 days prior to the start of class in order to receive a full refund or credit. If we must cancel a class, we will make every effort to inform you prior to the class time, and you will receive a full refund or credit.
Only those registered for the class will be permitted in the classroom. Childcare services are not provided.
