Native Pollinators & Plants - MoR at Artswalk

Butterflies and moths play an important role in nature! Native moth and butterfly species have evolved alongside flowering plants to pollinate them in a symbiotic relationship. European honeybees are important to agriculture in California, but without our native moths and butterflies, plants like the yucca tree would cease to be! Visit the Museum of Riverside’s booth to learn about our local pollinators and make a “flying” clothespin butterfly!
