Join our sustainability work that includes harvesting native plant seeds, removing invasive plants, and restoring trails and waterways, as well as learning about native plants and what you can do to help protect this invaluable watershed. We will meet at 8:00 AM on September 6, 2025, for a naturalist talk and then engage in trail restoration and cleanup work. Volunteers should come prepared to work outside by wearing long pants, long sleeves, closed-toed sturdy shoes, and layers (in case of hot or cold inclement weather). Please bring plenty of water (2 liters) and sun protection (screen, glasses, hat). Bring a backpack to carry your water and snacks!
People of all cultures, backgrounds, and faiths are welcome. LDS groups, including YM\YW, Relief Society, and Priesthood organizations are encouraged to participate. If your group will be larger than 4 people, please contact [email protected] to coordinate details.
This event is organized by the Cottonwood Canyons Foundation and the U.S. Forest Service. Please note that in order to participate, you must also complete the Cottonwood Canyons Foundation registration and waiver form found at the link below (after you complete the forms and click "submit", you will be taken to an activity date page and select September 27).
