The Native Plant Series is coming back! Build conservation practices at home by adding native plants to your landscape. Utilizing native plants in your yard provides needed habitat and food resources to wildlife, increases carbon sequestration, reduces water runoff and pollution, and can reduce carbon emissions. Native plants also provide a diverse range of texture, color, and natural beauty for visual interest, in additional to numerous ecological benefits. Troutleaf Native Plants (Johnson County) will be selling plants at each of our 2025 Native Plant Series events. The Native Plant Series will take place throughout the spring, summer, and fall of 2025. Each series event will include speaker presentations (registration required) and a native plant sale (open to anyone).
