Come join us for a day of herb harvesting and medicine making along the banks of the new Prefumo Creek Trail at City Farm SLO.About this Event
We will tour the newly restored riparian habitat and show how to identify and collect many of the useful plants that grow naturally in this place. Led by local Chumash elders, herbalists, and naturalists we will cover many topics and uses of the native plants we find and create teas, salves, and other goodies to take home. We will also prepare some native food snacks to enjoy at lunchtime.
Park and access the Prefumo Creek Trail from the parking lot behind the Target shopping center just before the Froom Ranch Way bridge and walk across to the trail entrance
