Come to the park on Saturday, October 4, to learn more about the benefits of native plants and trees. The festival will take place in the Audubon Arboretum near our pollinator meadow.We'll be giving away limited quantities of free tree saplings to City residents, have native plants for sale, kids' activities, and tons of educational booths from our partners: Yellow House Natives, Bee City USA, Virginia Native Plant Society, The Opequon Watershed, Shenandoah Valley Trees, The Xerces Society, Sustainability Matters, BikeWalk Winchester, Bartlett Tree Experts, Northern Shenandoah Valley Audubon Society, Beekeepers of the Northern Shenandoah Valley, Master Gardeners of the Northern Shenandoah Valley, Lord Fairfax Soil and Water Conservation District, Virginia Department of Forestry, The Shenandoah Master Naturalists, Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative, Old Town Tree & Landscaping, LLC, and the Lions Club.
