So far we have 7 nations joining this event on one of the best lake in Ireland, Each nation will gather 5 teams of 2 anglers fishing from a boat! Anglers have to be originally from the country they will represent! I know many got a new citizenship/naturalisation but they will represent nation where they were born.Captains

Rules for this competition
Anglers fish in pairs on a boat max 2 anglers.
Boats must be in suitable condition and checked for any pollution discharge
All fish are measured, recorded and returned to the water immediately
Hooks on lures must not be baited in any way
Only artificial lures!
No Dead Bait !
Ground baiting is prohibited
Fish finders may be used
Foul hooked fish may not be measured
Boats shall remain a minimum distance of 50 metres apart from another competitor boat and 100 m distance from other boats(local boats)
Species which count!
Perch minimum 20cm
Pike minimum 60cm
Measurement will be in cm
Scoring points based on Square cm
Only 20 biggest fish of the day will be counted (Perch and Pike)
Each team must have a landing net and unhooking pliers/ forceps.
Competitors may carry and assemble as many rods as they wish, but they are allowed to use only one rod at the time.

All fishing starting/finishing times must be strictly followed.
Anglers are not allowed to enter the water.
Fish played after the ending signal sounds don’t count even if it’s hooked before signal.
1.Pictures on the measuring board have to be taken with a device with a screen so we can check on the spot, fish has to be place on the board belly down with nose/mouth touching the 0 mark on the measuring board( an example how to measure the fish will be available on the WhatsApp group)
2.Team Card( provided on the day) will have to be visible in the picture
3.A short Release video has to be recorded on the device.
IF ANY OF ABOVE MISSING FISH WONT COUNT!!!
In the event of adverse weather conditions the competition must be cancelled or moved to a safer location. If deemed suitable then the anglers are responsible for their own personal safety.
Lifejackets must be worn by all onboard at all time's
Only hard plastic measuring board allowed in this competition(provided after a deposit will be paid)
All vessels should include a minimum of one experienced boatsman.
All competitors must be made aware of the ‘14 steps to safe boating’ www.iws.ie
To protect our waterways and ensure the prevention of the spread of invasive species boats, trailers and equipment should be inspected and cleaned.

At least one anger in the boat has to be over 18
In case tiebreaker on points we will check
1. Longest fish of the tiebreakers
2. Time of the longest fish
3. Second longest fish of tiebreakers
4. Time of the second longest fish
If all of this will fail to show us the winners we go home and start planning again 😊😊😊

All complaints have to be risen to the organisator before the event is finished and backed up with evidence!
Before, during and at the end of the event pictures/videos will be recorded, this will be used for advertising, social media, promoting products...etc
