WYL Announces Plans for 2025 National Youth Day CelebrationOld Road Wesleyan Church to Host the August 24 Event
Monrovia, Liberia - Wesleyan Youth of Liberia (WYL) is gearing up for its much-anticipated National Youth Day Program, scheduled to take place on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at the Old Road Wesleyan Church. This annual gathering will spotlight youth leadership, community engagement, and spiritual growth, bringing together young people from Wesleyan churches nationwide.
As part of the festivities, all Local Departments are encouraged to submit the name of their ideal youth of the year and to select one queen to represent them in the prestigious National Queens Contest. The deadline for submissions is set for the third Sunday of this month, ensuring ample time for thorough preparations. Additionally, all departments must send in their Membership Update Forms to maintain accurate records and strengthen organizational coordination.
To formally notify churches and donors about WYL's upcoming National Youth Camp, the distribution of official letters will commence next week on Sunday. These letters will provide details about the camp, encourage participation, and extend invitations for support.
The National Youth Day Program continues to serve as a beacon of unity and empowerment, fostering a platform where young leaders can share their experiences, inspire change, and celebrate their faith. The WYL executive leadership looks forward to a successful event that highlights the collective strength and impact of Wesleyan youth across Liberia.
