Learn about Scottish heritage and culture with the Virginia-Carolina Scottish Society and Danville Public Library! Browse displays on Scottish highland clans, their tartans, ancient territories, crest badges, and coats of arms. Try haggis, tea, and other traditional Scottish treats. There will be simple crafts for wee ones, too! Special demonstrations by Monroe School of Highland Dance with piper Andrew Prioli at 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM, special musical performance by Lily Harwell and Sean Ashdown at 2:30 PM. This event is for all ages and is free and open to the public. Regular museum prices will be charged for those wishing to tour the museum exhibits.
