National Pretzel Day Bierock is confident it serves the best restaurant-made pretzel in Madison.
Feel free to prove us wrong.
Sure, there are other restaurants that serve pretzels made by a bakery. But Bierock is one of the very few that takes the time and effort to create something delicious made in house.
So it only makes sense that on National Pretzel Day, we celebrate this twisted treat on Friday April 26.
On this date Bierock will be serving three different pretzel flavors!
Our quintessential pretzel is buttered, salted and served with a side of our house-made pimento cheese dipping sauce.
We’ll also serve a sweet, dessert version that will be topped with cinnamon and sugar and served with a side of cream cheese frosting to dip.
Meanwhile, we’ve got a pretzel developed by Chef Cordel, and that’s the popular Jalapeño Popper Pretzel.
It will be topped with cheddar cheese and served with a Jalapeño Popper dip.
Get one or all three, whatever suits your fancy.
Also—for the first time—we will be “pretzeling” a our Classic bierock.
It’s just what you’ve come to expect from our German-inspired Classic: ground beef, sauerkraut, onion and seasoning with a mustard vinaigrette dipping sauce.
But it will come out of the oven with the typical pretzel skin and shine and topped with salt.
To celebrate the occasion, we’ve got live music the evening of Friday April 26 with Too Sick Charlie, playing Americana, roots and blues on his cigar box guitar. Music starts at 8:00 p.m.
Doors open at 3:00 p.m. And a word of notice, we typically sell out on pretzel day, so the earlier you order, the better.
The full food and drink menu will be available the day of the event.
Someone go tell Stanley.
