The Maryland Heights Police Department will host the annual Fall- DEA Drug Take-Back Day from 10 am to 2 pm on April 26, 2025. You can drive up to the front of the Maryland Heights Government building, 11911 Dorsett Road, and we will collect your unused medications.

Unused or expired prescription medications are a public safety issue, leading to accidental poisoning, overdose, and abuse. Pharmaceutical drugs can be just as dangerous as street drugs when taken without a prescription or a doctor’s supervision.
The majority of the teenagers who are abusing prescription drugs get them from family and friends, and the home medicine cabinet.
Throwing away your unused prescription drugs in the trash can lead to them being retrieved and abused or illegally sold. And flushing them down the toilet can contaminate the water supply.
Proper disposal of unused drugs saves lives and protects the environment.
