Mark your calendars for this FREE, family-friendly event for the community to learn how to prepare for emergencies!Emergency Management invites the community to a special event focused on emergency preparedness on September 18 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the SALA Event Center in Los Alamos in celebration of National Preparedness Month.
Visit booths hosted by the County, LANL, and other local and regional partners. Exhibits will provide valuable information and resources to help residents better prepare for emergencies and to showcase the preparedness efforts underway in the region.
Attend a FREE screening of the movie Twisters, a thrilling, disaster-themed film perfect for National Preparedness Month - watch the trailer below - on a first-come, first-served for the first 100 people. The movie will begin at 7 p.m. Light refreshments such as popcorn and soda will be provided to event attendees.
