About this Event
The National Patient Safety Office (NPSO) in the Department of Health is delighted to be hosting its annual conference on Thursday 19th October 2023 in the Printworks, Dublin Castle. This year's conference will be a one-day, in-person event and attendance will be free of charge. Please register early as numbers are limited.
This year’s theme will be “Nurturing a positive culture of patient safety: listening, learning, responding.”
Poster Competition
The NPSO Conference 2023 is hosting our annual poster competitions again this year.
There will be two categories in the competition:
(1) The General Patient Safety Competition - please choose one of the three subthemes to base your abstract on:
(a) Facilitating a Positive Patient Safety Culture by Listening
(b) Facilitating a Positive Patient Safety Culture by Learning
(c) Facilitating a Positive Patient Safety Culture by Responding
(2) The Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Competition for students and Graduates Of the Last Decade (GOLD)
AMR abstracts should clearly identify how the AMR/IPC initiative aligns with Ireland's second One Health National Action Plan on Antimicrobial Resistance 2021-2025 (iNAP2) with a focus on human health impacts but can also include the One Health approach.
The call for abstracts will close at 23:59 Sunday September 17th. If you have any queries in relation to poster abstracts, please contact [email protected].
