This training is funded by the Commonwealth
Department of Health as part of the National LGBTI
Ageing and Aged Care Training Project, and is
subsidised for those working in the aged care sector.
These workshops will:
• Increase awareness and understanding of LGBTI
clients and support the delivery of culturally safe
and welcoming services to LGBTI elders.
• Assist your organisation to provide LGBTI inclusive
care and comply with legal obligations under the Aged
Care Act and the Equal Opportunities Act.
