Featuring a box parterre, perennial herbaceous border, fruit and vegetable beds, a medicinal and culinary herb bed, a wildflower garden and espaliered fruit trees, the Selly Manor garden is a great place to sit and relax. NEW FOR 2026 SELLY MANOR SENSORY KITCHEN GARDEN
During your visit chat to our gardener and volunteers about how Tudors used their gardens and the special features and plants such as the Medlar Tree, Artichokes, Teasels, Fig Tree, and topiary.
Enjoy a tea, coffee, slice of cake, snacks and soft drinks in our medieval hall (cash and card accepted).
Water and biscuits are available for dogs at Selly Manor.
We also have games for children to play with and a discovery trail.
There are toilets on site
As part of your ticket, you will have free access to the museum and six other Bournville Gardens on the day.
Bournville is famous for its large gardens, outstanding open spaces and of course its chocolate factory in a garden! We have a garden railway amongst bonsai, a traditional Tudor garden in a museum, and a large mature cottage style suburban garden. Free information sheet/map available on the day. Gardens spread across the 1,000 acre estate, with walks of up to 30 minutes between sites.

£7 for adults (including concessions)
Children age 16 and under are free
Entry to all the Bournville gardens is between 11am and 5pm
Entrance to Selly Manor garden and museum 10am - 5pm
You can purchase tickets in advance here. If you do not buy your tickets in advance you can pay with debit/credit card on the day. We cannot take cash payments for tickets as payment goes straight to National Garden Scheme.
