National Farmers’ Day is celebrated on October 12 to honor all hardworking farmers and ranchers who provide food for us all. Near the end of the harvest season, it’s a good time to show appreciation for farmers and their role in the economy and food supply.
We'll be celebrating on Saturday, October 11, from 10:00 a.m. to
2:00 p.m. We're accepting donations for the Bastrop County Emergency Food Pantry. You can bring your donation or non-perishable food items to exchange for raffle tickets beginning September 6th.
The day will be fun for the entire family with face painting, snacks,
and raffles with a dozen truly fabulous prizes.
