About this Event
Mrs. Winchester, or, A Gun in the First Act
A National Delivery Live Engagement
Guns, grief, and ghosts. In a sprawling mansion of her own design, Sarah Winchester navigates a complex legacy: she's lost everything of value - her husband, her child - and gained a fortune. Her net worth can be measured in dollars or blood. The confounding splendor of her new California home invites wonder and rumor. But one night, before the legends harden into a tourist attraction, the heiress of the Winchester Repeating Arms Company gives a personal tour of her conspicuous dwelling for a few lucky guests. Be among them.

This event is a fundraiser for the Berkeley Historic Building Fund Capital Campaign. Donations made to BHBF over the past year have already helped defray the cost of significant Hillside Club House roof and gutter repairs, landscape improvements, and the purchase of audio equipment.
The costs of the repairs, renovations and improvements envisioned in the Club House plan are, of course, considerable. To achieve the significant, concrete impact the Hillside Club and BHBF hope to achieve, the 2024 Capital Campaign has A TARGET GOAL OF $250,000 in donations. A quarter of a million dollars is an ambitious goal, but one that can be reached through the participation of club members and other sympathetic donors.
General Admission: $25
Students and Seniors: $20
Hillside Club Members: $15 with a promo code. If you need the code contact Ellen at [email protected]
Children under 12 are admitted for free.
Donations accepted in addition to ticket costs.
