What is competition cow cutting?
Rider guides the horse to "cut" a cow from a herd of ~50 cows. Then rider loosens the reins and keeps hands on the horse's neck. With no reining ques from the rider, the horse uses its intelligence and athletic ability to match wits with the cow, keeping it away from the herd.
