This Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Watercrest Mall is proud to host Cupcakes of HOPE for National Cupcake Day on Saturday, 27 September 2025 — and we’re calling on our amazing community to help us bake a difference!
We have rallied to keep the event at Watercrest Mall this year, which means we need EXTRA help! Genevieve from Mugg & Bean Watercrest has very kindly offered to be our team leader, but she needs our support 🫶
💛 How You Can Help:
👩🍳 Bakers – Pledge to bake 24, 48, or 96 cupcakes and deliver them to Watercrest Mall.
📦 Please package your cupcakes in windowed boxes or 4- or 6-cup clamshell containers.

🌟 Why It Matters:
National Cupcake Day is Cupcakes of HOPE’s biggest fundraiser, uniting communities across South Africa to support children with cancer. Since 2020, the number of children helped has nearly quadrupled. Just last month, over 140 young warriors received support — the youngest only 1 year old.
Let’s come together to spread smiles, hope, and frosting — because together, we can bake a real difference. 💛
