It’s certainly easy to get take-out, eat out, heat a frozen dinner or maybe even just snack but nothing nourishes like a home cooked meal. In preparation for National Cooking Day, let’s get together and remember, or discover, the joy of cooking! Join Carmen Weber, RVNAhealth’s Registered Dietitian, for an evening of simple-to-prepare, delicious and healthful food. We’ll talk about easy substitutions and the nutrition of the ingredients along the way. Recipes are gluten-free and easy to adapt if you’re cooking for one. You will leave with a full belly, all the recipes and hopefully inspired to cook more often! Some hands-on, some demonstration.
