About this Event
National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day
Come join us at The Kee for a day dedicated to raising awareness about HIV/AIDS in the Black community. This in-person event will feature informative sessions, guest speakers, and resources to help educate and support those affected by this disease. Black men are diagnosed with HIV at a rate 8 times higher than any other race, ethnic and gender groups. Black men account for 34% of new infections so we want to work collaboratively in changing this narrative. This event will also offer FREE Flu vaccines, FREE food, GREAT music, Raffle giveaways, and FUN! SO COME HAVE THE MOST FUN YOU WILL HAVE AT A DOCTOR'S APPOINTMENT AND LOWER YOU RISK! See you there!
