This two-part guided experience includes a visit to the Melbourne Antiquities Collection object-based laboratories and a curator's tour of the 'Ancient Lives: Insights from the Classics and Archaeology Department' exhibition.
Sands of Time: Kids' Archaeology Dig
11AM–12.30PM Sunday 26 May at the Hellenic Museum Melbourne CBD
This hands-on kids' workshop will give young 'field recruits' a crash course in archaeology including excavating a mock dig site and learning to record and analyse discoveries in a field journal!
