🌳 Pinellas County Urban Forestry is hosting a tree giveaway for Pinellas County residents in celebration of National Arbor Day! A variety of shade and accent trees will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at the Urban Forestry & Landscape Services campus, located at 4550 126th Ave N, Clearwater. Each household may receive up to two free trees. Trees available may include:
- Bald cypress (Taxodium distichum)
- Dahoon holly (Ilex cassine)
- American elm (Ulmus americana)
- S.FL. Slash pine (Pinus e. var. densa)
- Longleaf pine (Pinus palustris)
- Red bay (Persea borbonia)
- Simpson stopper (Myrcianthes f.)
- Florida privet (Forestiera segregate)
**Residents are encouraged to print out the Tree-Species Selection List and Tree Giveaway Descriptions ahead of time. Please visit the link above for those resources.**
