Bowie is holding open auditions for individuals or groups to perform the National Anthem and for stageannouncers to serve as the Voice of Bowie during events such as the Memorial Day Parade, Bowiefest, International Festival, and other special events.
Auditions will take place at the Bowie Television Studio at the Kenhill Center on February 21, beginning at 9 a.m. Walk-in auditions are welcome until 11 a.m. Performers auditioning for the National Anthem should be prepared to sing the anthem a cappella and perform another song of their choice for the judging panel. Candidates for Voice of Bowie will read a prepared script.
