About this Event
The National African American Roller Skating Archive (NAARSA) exhibit tells the story of the origins of roller skating from the 1920s until now through the lens of the African American community. The installations highlights Style Roller Skating, the skate discipline created by Black roller skaters in the United States. See some of Style's influential roller skaters and change makers, historical black-owned roller rinks, roller skating memorabilia and so much more.
