Well… it’s official!
I’ve now put my name forward to continue as Mayor of Gawler for the rest of the current term, with ballots arriving in letterboxes from August 26.
To kick things off, I’d love for you to join me for a casual get-together where I’ll share how I juggle being a father, husband, builder—and Acting Mayor of our great town. Join us from 5.30pm for a 6pm start.
There’s still a lot of work ahead to position Gawler for the future, and with your support, I’d be honoured to keep leading the team toward the outcomes our community deserves... and to Build a Better Gawler.
Massive thanks to Damian McGee and The Exchange for hosting the event. They’ve also put on a brilliant initiative: a “Community Keg” – pay what you like, with all proceeds supporting the Cancer Council (Gawler Branch).
I’ll be joined by local sporting identity Matt Knight for a Q&A, and we’ll be opening the floor for questions from the crowd too.
I’m proud of the momentum we’ve built this term—but I know we’re only just laying the foundations.
