From the Artist:
In an age of soundbites and ideological echo chambers, it is no surprise that we often miss one another. All too often our attempts at knowing and being known are halted or even derailed. Utilizing themes of migration, elemental materials of wood and paper, perceived obstacles, and opening vistas, this installation invites an imagined and important call to journey towards one another. In the process we might find our way towards a home that lessens the distances between us.
