Korean-American blues poet Nat Myers embodies the essence of itinerancy, infusing his music with the restless spirit of constant exploration. His debut album, "Yellow Peril," pulsates with jumpy blues tracks, narrating train-hopping adventures and the allure of the open road.
From Kansas to New York City, Myers’ journey has been marked by an insatiable curiosity, shaped by his love for poetry and the blues. While COVID-19 halted his street performances, it also led to a serendipitous encounter with Dan Auerbach, culminating in a collaboration that birthed a dozen vibrant songs in Auerbach’s Nashville home.
"Yellow Peril" isn't just an album; it's a testament to Myers’ journey of self-discovery as a Korean American, intertwining themes of identity, heritage, and resilience. With each riff and lyric, Myers invites listeners on a sonic odyssey, navigating the complexities of post-pandemic America with intelligence, soul, and a resolute determination to uplift his community.

The music starts at 7 PM in beautiful Mayo Park - come early to enjoy the space, and grab your spot before the show starts! Lawn chairs, blankets, coolers and picnics are welcome, but please leave the dogs at home. Walk or bike to the park if you can, otherwise take advantage of the ample free parking downtown. This is an all-ages event!
