About this Event
Project PASS, funded by a BJA/STOP School Violence grant, welcomes you to register for NASP's PREPaRE Workshop 2, to be held in the Bywater neighorhood of New Orleans on Dec. 2-3, 8am-4pm each day. This is a two-day workshop, and participants must commit to attending both days.
What? This 2-day training develops the knowledge and skill required to provide immediate mental health crisis interventions to the students, staff, and school community members who have been simultaneously exposed to an acute traumatic stressor.
Who? For school mental health staff, community-based partners who work with school crisis teams, and anyone involved in crisis intervention and psychological first aid.
How much does it cost? This training is free! Costs are covered by a federal grant.
Registration is now open!
IMPORTANT: After you register, you will receive follow-up information from Dr. Courtney Baker at Project PASS and from NASP with next steps regarding additional documentation, which is required in order to participate.
