For more than fifty years, Kenny Lovelace has served as guitarist, fiddler, bandleader, and right-hand man for Jerry Lee Lewis. He’s also performed with Chuck Berry, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, the Rolling Stones, and other legends. On June 18, Lovelace takes the stage for a special “Nashville Cats” program—our ongoing series showcasing stories and songs from musicians and session singers who have played important roles in country music history. This interview and performance will be illustrated with archival photos, recordings, and film clips.
