About this Event
When we write, we move between five narrative modes: action, exposition, dialogue, interiority and description.
In the last of 3 masterclasses, you'll explore description. What is it? When is it best to deploy it? How can we best engage the reader using description?
In this class, you'll be learning key principles, discussing examples from great writers, and having a go at writing in this narrative mode.
The other masterclasses:
- Action and exposition (took place November 3)
- Dialogue and interiority (took place November 30)
Each class is designed to stand alone.
Please note:
- The Writers Workshop is not wheelchair accessible and has only partial lift access (via Waterstones).
- Refunds cannot be given unless your ticket can be resold.
