Safe Communities Dane County https://safercommunity.net is partnering with Mount Vernon UCC to provide a workshop about opioid overdose and using Narcan in the case of an overdose. 12:00 P.M. in the upstairs level of the church.
We are the host of an OAK box (Overdose Aid Kit) which includes narcan supplies, hotline and resource information, tools to test your drugs, and more information about overdosing and how to respond.
Come share in this time to learn, grow, and increase the tools we need to save lives in our communities. Take home Narcan and resources to share with your friends and neighbors. Check out the location of our OAK box and learn about partners in dane county to help reduce overdoses and help distribute Narcan.
