NAR Settlement & What it Means for Agents in Georgia

Course Description:

This course is designed to educate agents on the NAR Settlement Agreement regarding Commissions. We will address the terms of the settlement and how this impacts various MLS's in Georgia. Students will become familiar with the confusion regarding this settlement among real estate agents and the public, and understand how the Brokers get paid moving forward. Students will leave this class with a variety of talking points, strategies and objections to help their buying and selling clients navigate these issues for the successful purchase and sale of real property in Georgia.

Course Objectives:

1. Understand the terms of the NAR Settlement
2. Understand its impact on various MLS services in Georgia
3. Clarify the most common misconceptions of what this settlement means for real estate, as an industry
4. Discuss various strategies and methods for helping the buying & selling public understand their commission options and helping them determine what options are best to achieve their real estate needs.
