PRESENTATION:
The “NAPLES SUMMER TOUCH TOURNAMENT”, senior mixed (men +35, women +20) will take place in Naples (Italy) on Saturday 5 July 2025. The event will take place at the Rugby Village in Viale della Liberazione, in Naples (former NATO base). Organization is by the Bersaglieri Sanniti touch, a team registered with Italia Touch (www.italiatouch.it)
Below is the program for the day:
- 10.00 am, welcome coffee;
- 10.30 am, captains and referees brief;
- 11.00 am, tournament starts.
- 6.00 pm, end of the tournament.
- 8.00 pm: awards ceremony and party at the Amatori rugby Napoli club house inside the Rugby Village.
Times may be subject to change depending on the number of participants.
The tournament will take place on a latest generation synthetic grass pitch that hosted the 2019 Rugby Sevens Universiade.
PARTY:
At the end of the tournament there will be a big party with good food, excellent beer and wine, dj set to dance until the late night to absorb the efforts of the day.

REGULATION:
1. Official FIT rules apply; each team will have to provide 4 part-time or 1 full time referees;
2. The registration fee is €20 for each player and includes: event organization, doctor presence, insurance, fruit, pizza (or similar); the cost for the party (optional) is €15 and includes: first course, second course with side dish, dessert. Alternatively, a vegetarian menu or one that respects other personal needs to be communicated upon registration.
For those not registered in the tournament who only want to participate in the third half, the individual fee is €20.00.

The "player list" form must be sent to [email protected] a maximum of 10 days before the start of the tournament and in the case of corrections before the start of the tournament to the Event Manager.

HOW TO GET THERE:
By plane:
- from Naples Capodichino International Airport we recommend reaching the FFSS Napoli Centrale Garibaldi square (approximately 20-30 minutes by bus €5 or taxi €6) and then continuing by metro line 2 towards Pozzuoli (€1,5) and get off at Bagnoli-Agnano Terme. Walk 300 meters to reach the camp/rugby village (approximately 40-50 minutes). Alternatively, renting a car/van at the airport for reach the rugby village via the ring road (Agnano exit) in 30 minutes (type into google maps (gls rugby village)
- alternatively Rome Fiumicino or Ciampino airports may be alternative solutions to get to Naples. the distance is about 2-3 hours by car or train.
- another alternative is the Salerno Amalfi Coast airport, which is about an hour from Naples
By train:

CULTURAL PROGRAM:
Naples is a beautiful city with many monuments, places to discover and many UNESCO world heritage site. Naples is famous for its Margherita pizza and other gastronomic delicacies. In the surrounding area you can visit Pompei, the Sorrento and Amalfi coasts, and visit the islands of Capri, Ischia and Procida. You’re spoiled for choice!
