2.5" Mini Charms were made for this project! The Nantucket Mini Charm Bag is a great beginner-friendly quilted project. You'll use 2.5" stabilizer as a guide to create perfect patchwork and a great travel bag! Materials needed:
-The Free Nantucket Mini Charm Bag pattern (Please download and print for class)
-2.5" mini charm pack or 40 2.5" precut squares of your choosing
-1 Fat Quarter for Lining
-14" zipper
-1/2 yard of lightweight 2.5" fusible grid stabilizer (5 repeats of the 2.5" grid)
-1/3 yard of Bosal fusible foam stabilizer
Tools needed:
-Sewing Machine that is in working order (don’t forget your power cord
-Quarter inch foot (or general purpose foot), zipper foot and walking foot (this will help
with quilting but is not necessary)
-Neutral color (white, beige, gray) sewing thread and 2 bobbins filled
-Sewing tools (scissors, clips or pins, stiletto or purple thang, seam ripper)
-Washable glue stick – we will have a few to use, but if you have one, please bring it
-Marking pen or pencil, small ruler
-Mini iron and wool pressing mat (if you have one!)
