On March 1st, we are gathering in peaceful protest to stand against fascist policies and in defense of human rights for all. We are a collective of individuals coming together to stand in solidarity: our voices matter, and now is the time to use them.Throughout history, meaningful change has come from those willing to disrupt, resist, and demand justice. On March 1st, we will gather together with a clear message:
• To raise awareness of divisive policies that threaten freedom, equality, and democracy.
• To show that unity, not oppression, is the foundation of a just society.
• To demand that all people—regardless of race, gender, religion, or background—be treated with dignity and respect.
While we are rallying in support of all human rights, it is especially important to our group right now that we show up for our trans siblings across the border, who are facing escalating attacks on their rights and existence. In gathering together, we remember that pride was born out of protest. The rights and visibility that we celebrate today were won through disruption and resistance. History has shown that meaningful change does not come from asking politely—it comes from collective action, from people showing up and making it clear that injustice will not go unchallenged. Silence is not an option when marginalized communities are under threat.
For those who will be joining us on March 1st, we remind everyone that this is a peaceful protest. We will stand together, as countless others have before us, to loudly and boldly declare that we reject hate. We reject fascism. We stand for human rights, for our communities, and for a future where no one is left behind.
For those that may not feel safe attending a protest, we encourage you to show support in any way that is right for you. Solidarity is not defined by one event—it is an ongoing commitment to justice and unity in our communities.
