About this Event
If you are volunteering with our Name + Gender Marker Clinic on April 20th, or just want to learn more about the law and current best practices in assisting trans and non-binary people changing their legal identity and corresponding documents, join us Wednesday, April 17th for a free in person training CLE beginning at 5:30 pm. CLE is free and all are welcome.
Clinic Volunteers and Dallas LGBT Bar Association member are invited to stay for a social mixer following training. One drink ticket per member or clinic volunteer.

The Dallas LGBT Bar Association Spring Name Change + Gender Marker Correction Clinic will take place on Saturday April 20th in Frisco. We are proud to be partnering with Pride Frisco to host this clinic. No specific experience necessary. Attorneys, law students, and paralegals are encouraged to volunteer!
TRAINING PROVIDED
We will provide two training opportunities prior to the clinic, which will also serve as CLE credit. Volunteer attorneys (and law students who would like to work client facing) must attend one of the following trainings prior to the clinic.
- Wednesday April 10th via Zoom at 12 pm.
- Wednesday April 17th in person at 5:30 pm, followed by a volunteer and Dallas LGBT Bar member social.
