About this Event
Bring your parent, BFF or Cake-Bestie and join Celebrity Pastry Chef Dawn Alston of Ravy Cakes, competitor on Food Networks The Wedding Cake Championship, for some competitive fun in this Nailed It-style Cake Competition!!!
The teams will watch a cake-decorating demo, and Chef Dawn will demonstrate additional piping techniques and decorating skills After watching the demo, the teams will have time to practice their cake piping skills. After this practice, each team will be given a cake and will have exactly 30 minutes to create and add their own design to their cake. The theme of the cake will be announced on the day of class. (Each time we have this class, the theme is different!)
The winning team will receive a prize! Join us to see who will take the winning title home!
Appropriate for ages 16+ with parent, friend, BFF or Cake-Bestie. This class can be a little messy so please wear something that can withstand a little buttercream or bring an apron.
All items and tools needed to decorate will be provided for use during the workshop only. All students are eligible for a 5% discount on purchases at Fran's on the day of class. Each team will receive a box to take their cake home in.
Each ticket includes 2 participants for a team.
Class requires a minimum of 2 teams and there is a maximum of 4 teams. In the event of insufficient enrollment, you will receive a full refund. Changes and cancellations are permitted up to 7 days before the class. No refunds or changes are allowed within 7 days of the class
In response to the pandemic, we have reduced the number of students in each class in order to maintain proper social distancing. Face coverings are required during the class. If you forget yours, we have disposable face masks that you can use. We also have plenty of hand sanitizer for use during the class.

Note: Eventbrite charges a fee of $6.19 for each ticket. This fee is already included in the price of the class. In the event that you request a refund for any reason, this fee is non-refundable. In the event that the class is cancelled, the Eventbrite fee will be refunded.
