Welcome to the Naija Spelling Bee!

Get ready to showcase your spelling skills at our fun and exciting Spelling Bee event! Join us for a day filled with friendly competition, challenging words, and lots of laughter. Whether you're a spelling whiz or just looking to have a good time, this event is perfect for all ages. Bring your A-game and let's see who will be crowned the spelling champion and bring home the trophy!

What to Expect
- Only 30 spelling bee participants, so if you want to compete sign up early.
- Check in is from 2pm to 2:30pm for all spelling bee participants
- Participants will be provided a bib and spelling competition rules
- Competition will start promptly at 2:45pm.
- Small chops and drinks will be provided.
- Bring your good vibes, friends and support.

How It Works
- Warm-Up Round: Easy words to loosen up.
- Round 1: Moderate words — one strike and you’re out.
- Round 2: Harder words (and some Naija-inspired ones).
- Final Showdown: The last set of contestants go head-to-head until one spells victory!
🥇 Winner gets a medal + the ultimate bragging rights.
🥈 Runner-up gets to claim “I almost had it!” for the rest of the year.
All participants leave with laughter and proof that English no easy!
