The Nac Short Film Festival focuses on the independent filmmaker that creates films in East Texas and offers networking opportunities for all that attend the film festival. If you are willing to come to Nacogdoches, Texas, on the day of the event, we will show your film if selected! Here are the times and the venue:
Saturday, February 28, 2026
7-10 pm
SFASU Movie Theater

Nacogdoches, TX 75965
From 4-6:30 pm, there will be panels and meet and greets with filmmakers and those with film submitted and accepted into this festival.
From 7-9 pm we will screen the short films selected.
9 - 9:30 pm, there is a Q&A with the short film filmmakers.
9:30 pm - The Audience will vote, and the $100 Audience Choice Award Winner will be announced.
