Låska is a Berlin-based cold-wave duo.
Sonically, they draw inspiration from the synth-pop and cold-wave scenes of the ’80s, citing bands like Imperia, Beta Evers, Depeche Mode, Cabaret Voltaire, Linear Movement, and Grauzone as their primary influences.
Berlin during the Cold War era with its brutalist architecture, and nowadays city with its vast industrial landscapes and dark echoing techno-clubs - the loneliness and the struggle to find yourself in this setting.
