                    The history of the celebrated Māoriland Film Festival (maorilandfilm.co.nz) has its origins in some of the earliest filmmaking in New Zealand. Come and watch the story of Māoriland, along with a special programme of films made in Ōtaki over the past 100 years.The Wellington Heritage Festival proudly presents a special programme of films at the Māoriland Hub.
The films are:
- Te Hokinga Mai o Ngā Taonga Whitiāhua ki Raukawa
- The Lawnmower Men of Kapu
- The Gravedigger of Kapu
- Ruarangi
- Tuia Ngā Here
- Brolesque

Followed by a kōrero by Māoriland filmmaker Libby Hakaraia, with questions from the audience.
