Friends of the farm and I have come together and are excited to share with you our frist ever Spring Seedling and Seed Swap Day!? Do you sow more seeds than you usually plant out?
? Did you save an abundance of seeds from last year's gardening?
? Do you have old pots sitting around making clutter?
? Completely new to gardening and want to get off to a helpful start?
Bring on down your extra seed harvests, seedlings and old pots and together we may be able to leave with some new seeds, seedlings and possibly full those old pots with something to plant out this spring!
Don't have anything to bring?
Come on down anyways, maybe the seed that's planted will be the idea of a new garden.. Or trying something new to grow!
We will show you how to use old newspaper to make biodegradable seedling pots as well as handy bags for gifting harvests or lining the food waste bins!
Anything left over will be planted out at the local community gardens!
