Kaito Winse, is a multi-talented artist from Burkina Faso living in Bxl, who you may know from the noise punk project Avalanche Kaito. Following the acclaimed debut 'Kaladounia' in 2020, Kaito continues his journey through music and tradition, with profound, reflective lyrics from rich traditional narratives. Together with tenor saxophonist Joos Vandueren, he now showcases material from his new album to be released in 2025. Together they engage in an adventurous dialogue in which their transcendental energies meet.
Mòs Ensemble is a Belgian collective founded by bass player Kobe Boon. The band creates genre-overlapping music guided by a collective vision and rich arrangements of voices and other instruments. The band members are active with an impressive list of bands and projects - in pop, jazz and remote areas -, and relinquish this broad-mindedness with a self-evident love for adventure and exciting interaction. The result is a collective in continual transformation, maintaining a balancing act between wonder and determination.
Their latest album Pets & Therapy (march 2024, W.E.R.F.-records) is the sound of a band still honing its sound, refusing to settle for a formula.
Vocals, reeds, guitar/mandolin, keyboards, bass and drums function as colours in a canvas showing how we never cease to think, feel, watch and interpret.
