About this Event
(Seattle, USA)
Coming off the back of her gothic shoegaze debut album "Euphoric Recall" released in 2021, MØAA unleashed her second full length album "Jaywalker"; a nocturnal dream pop record featuring pulsing 909 drum machines submerged under catchy hushed vocals and glistening, reverb laden guitars. Fuzzed out bass lines from the first album have been swapped out with fat chorus and throbbing synths built for melancholic dancing.
The new album which was released on October 13th, 2023 was written entirely by Seattle born musician, Jancy Buffington, but as with "Euphoric Recall", she worked with collaborator Andrea Volpato who co-produced, mixed, and recorded "Jaywalker" at Fox Studio in Seattle, Washington. Since the inception of the project in 2021, MØAA has headlined global tours in the United States, Europe, and the UK, performed at the official SXSW 2022 & 2024 showcase, Ypsigrock Festival in Sicily, MIL Festival in Lisbon, and shared the stage with Yves Tumor and The Dandy Warhols and toured with LA Shoegazers - Film School - in January 2023 down the West Coast. MØAA also headlined their own "Jaywalker" album release tours in Texas, the East Coast, and West Coast and a European & UK headlining tour in February 2024 to support the new album.
