The Mzansi Music Awards™ represents the year’s top achievements in music determined by the fans for the fans. A vibrant night of non-stop music the Mzansi Music Awards™ features a powerful lineup featuring first-time collaborations and exclusive SA premiere performances from music’s biggest names – from AmaPiano Afropop House Gospel to Rap R&B Maskhandi Afrikaans musiek to Jazz – and more as well as memorable moments that live on in SA's music culture. As the SA’s largest fan-voted awards show the Mzansi Music Awards™ air nationally across a footprint of linear and digital platforms.
The “2024 Mzansi Music Awards” winners are voted entirely by fans. Nominees are based on key fan interactions – as reflected on the radio charts – including streaming album and song sales radio airplay and tour grosses. These measurements are tracked by Radiomonitor SA and cover the eligibility period of Jan. 1st 2023 through Dec. 31st 2023.
This prestigious hallmark event is undoubtedly the only national mega event that celebrate the growth and excellence of the South African arts & cultural sector.
