Ghost Media and FTF are joining forces to bring you another epic show, this time featuring the one and only MYSTIC STATE
After hitting the New Zealand festival circuit twice, these legends need no introduction, but we’ll give them one anyway.
Hailing from the vibrant city of Bristol, UK, Mystic State is a tour-de-force in electronic music production, forged from the creative minds of Will Marquiss and Mike Holliday. The duo is celebrated for their crystal clear sound, marked by a signature blend that captures the essence of late 90's jungle, dub, and ambient sounds, designed to evoke a rich, textured soundscape. They have released on some of the finest labels in the game, including White Peach, Deep Dark and Dangerous, Chord Marauders and Artikal Music, as well as their own imprints, The Chikara Project and Moth Club. Ghost Media hosted them last time they came here back in 2024, and we can’t wait to welcome them back.
Joining them we have BOASTEEZE from Christchurch, a multitalented selector with a penchant for serious wubs. Boasteeze’s sound is deep and heavy, spanning the full spectrum of the 140 continuum. Ally is one of our favourite DJs in the country, and we’ve been looking for an opportunity to get this legend to the capital, so now seems like the perfect chance!
On closing duties we have CONNA, a skilful DJ and producer from Wellington, showcasing a range of his original dubstep and jungle productions, alongside some of his favourite tunes. Opening up proceedings, we have none other than the FURTHER SOUND crew delivering a workout with some of their favourite dub records, because what’s the point in owning a giant set of speakers if you don’t get to play on it sometimes?
Last but not least we’ve got Young Gho$t on hosting duties, because he just loves playing with the Mystic State boys. They locked in together at Matakanarama and it was something seriously special, so Ghosty is gonna dust off the old mic and try to recapture some of that magic or better yet - make some new magic!
