at The Nashua Historical Society
Course Description: Embark on a year-long creative journey with the Nashua Historical Society's Mystery Quilt class! This intimate hands-on course limited to just four lucky participants is a deep dive into the timeless craft of quilting.
Under the expert guidance of our seasoned instructor Gail Pinet you'll focus on the art of sewing machine quilting one block at a time. Each month you will create a unique 4 1/2" block culminating in a stunning two-color 68 ½” by 68 ½ quilt” by year's end. The quilt's design a harmonious blend of one light and one dark color will remain a mystery until the final piece is added.
Don't worry if you're new to quilting or if cutting fabric seems daunting. Gail will provide detailed cutting instructions every step of the way ensuring your blocks are perfect and your experience enjoyable. Participants are required to bring their own sewing machine natural color thread a cutting mat a rotary blade a 6 x 12 ruler and one light color cloth and one dark color cloth (additional details about the fabric will be provided upon registration).

Cost: The class fee is $60 for the first 3 months or $180 for the year for NHS members. $75 for the first 3 months or $225 for the year for non-members.
