You don’t just watch the action—you’re a part of it! Step into the shoes of a detective and unravel a thrilling live story alongside a cast of colorful characters. Get ready for an unforgettable night where every clue you uncover brings you closer to solving the mystery!
It's 1930 and a fire rips through the Van der Zee's Goods Emporium, the largest business on front street. Firefighters work diligently throughout the night but by the time the smoke clears, the building is in shambles - yet many of the employees do not seem bothered. As the fire marshal begins investigating, they begin to suspect foul play.

Can you crack the Case of the Emporium Inferno?
As you explore the museum’s three floors, you’ll engage directly with actors playing the roles of suspects, each with their own secrets and clues. It’s up to you to ask the right questions, follow the leads, and uncover who pocketed the jewel.
Your involvement doesn’t end there—submit your guess on the culprit by the end of the night for a chance to win a prize. With three nights of mystery to enjoy, each with a different solution, a winner will be drawn each evening, culminating in a grand prize for the top detective. This means you can return each night for a new twist in the tale!
The event spans a 3-hour window, though you won’t need to stay for the entire time. Expect to spend at least 1 hour solving the mystery. The storyline is designed to be fun, engaging and appropriate for all ages, making it an adventure the entire family can enjoy. As you immerse yourself in the challenge, treat yourself to Italian sodas and snacks available for purchase at a low cost, and don’t forget to capture the moment at our selfie station, commemorating your role as a crime-solver.
*Once the evenings event has started, tickets will become unavailable to purchase online. Tickets will not sell out and they can be bought at the front counter upon your arrival.
Museum members receive free tickets based on their membership level, and general admission is priced at $12 for kids, $17 for adults, and $55 for a group package (up to 5 people). Children 5 years of age and under are free of charge.
