Mysteries of Ancient Egypt is a touring exhibition from Hampshire Cultural Trust. The exhibition includes many original ancient Egyptian artifacts and explores the stories behind how and why these objects came to be in Hampshire. Many of the artifacts on display came from a collection that was gifted to the Red House Museum many years ago, when Christchurch was still part of Hampshire. This exhibition brings the individual collections from Christchurch, Winchester and across Hampshire, and together they unravel some of the mysteries of everyday life for the ancient Egyptians and delve into their fascinating beliefs.
The exhibition includes interactive exhibits, hands-on activities, and games suitable for all ages.
